David Aronoff is a member of the NewHold Investment Corp. II advisory board. Mr. Aronoff is a successful technology entrepreneur, former venture capital managing partner and recognized expert in SaaS, Cloud, Cybersecurity, Enterprise Software and Semiconductors. Over the past 25 years, Mr. Aronoff has been a director on more than twenty-five technology company boards, bringing expertise on product and competitive strategy, risk, ESG and human resources, among other issues. He has strong M&A and financing experience, comprising dozens of transactions with leading technology companies and top investment banking firms. Mr. Aronoff was previously a partner at Flybridge, a leading early-stage venture firm, investing in sectors that included IoT, Human Capital Management. In January 2020, he stepped down as an active investing partner to pursue independent board work full-time. In 2021 Mr. Aronoff became Chairman of MCJ Collective, a community-driven platform, comprising a media company and set of venture capital funds focused on fighting climate change. Mr. Aronoff joined the board of Minim, (NASDAQ: MINM) in 2020, an IoT WiFi management and cybersecurity software startup he co-founded in 2017. Since 2015, Mr. Aronoff has been a director on the board of Draper Laboratories - a defense, aerospace and commercial research contractor with annual revenues of more than $700M million. Mr. Aronoff started his career at AT&T Bell Laboratories in 1986 where he developed Cyber-security software. In 1989 he joined Chipcom, a network hardware and software startup, developing products that helped grow revenue from zero to more $300M in five years, culminating in a 1991 IPO. While pursuing his MBA at Harvard in 1994, Mr. Aronoff co-founded HappyPuppy.com, a top-ten website and at the time the most popular video games site on the Internet, which was successfully sold in 1999. In 1996, Mr. Aronoff joined Greylock Partners, a Silicon Valley venture capital firm and during his tenure he led investments in the Cybersecurity, Internet networking and communications, and semiconductor sectors, earning multiple spots on Forbes’ Midas List of top Venture Capital investors.

Mr. Aronoff earned an MBA from Harvard, an MS in Computer Science from University of Southern California, and a BS in Computer Science from University of Vermont. Mr. Aronoff is a Trustee Emeritus on the University of Vermont Board and a Member of the Global Cyber Institute Advisory Board.
