Phil Horlock

Vice Chairman

Philip Horlock will be Vice Chairman of our board of directors. Mr. Horlock has over 40 years of experience in finance and operations, primarily in the automotive sector. He has served on the board of directors of Blue Bird Corporation (“Blue Bird”) since February 2015, when Blue Bird became listed on the Nasdaq exchange (Nasdaq: BLBD). Mr. Horlock joined Blue Bird as CFO in January 2010 and was appointed President and CEO in April 2011, holding that position until October 2021. Subsequently, Mr. Horlock served as a Senior Advisor to Blue Bird until his retirement in December 2021, at which time Mr. Horlock became a consultant to the company through December 2022. At the Board’s request, Mr. Horlock was reappointed President and CEO in May 2023 and held that position until his second retirement from Blue Bird in February 2025. Prior to joining Blue Bird, Mr. Horlock spent over 30 years with Ford Motor Company, where he held senior executive positions in Finance and Operations worldwide. His last three positions with Ford were Chairman & CEO of Ford Motor Land Development, Controller of Corporate Finance and CFO of Ford Asia Pacific & Africa. Since September 2024, Mr. Horlock has served as a member of the board of directors of NewHold Investment Corp III, a special purpose acquisition company that is in the process of searching for a business combination target. Since September 2024, Mr. Horlock has served as a member of the board of directors of NewHold Investment Corp III, a special purpose acquisition company that is in the process of searching for a business combination target. Mr. Horlock has also served on the Advisory Board of Mazda Motor Corporation and was an independent director of LoJack Corporation. Mr. Horlock holds a B.S. degree in Psychology and Mathematics from Sheffield University in England. He also completed the Ford Executive Development Program (Capstone) through the University of Michigan.
